Impala KinetiCore

Without Limits

DualCore impact protection, breakaway accessories, RECCO rescue technology: Impala KinetiCore has your back. CoreConfidence. That’s what we stand for.

Feature Loaded Design

Unmatched comfort and advanced protection combine to enhance every ride. An easy to adjust fit system, secure eyewear docking, and premium ventilation make Impala KinetiCore the helmet for singletrack focus.

Next Generation Impact Protection

Lazer’s proven KinetiCore with DualCore is the world’s first responsibly designed and fully integrated impact protection technology. Built directly into the helmet, two different foam densities work together to reduce the risk of injury. The result is a lighter, cooler helmet with enhanced protective capability that won’t squeak, rattle or compromise comfort and airflow.

Adjustable visor

Visor adjusts up and down for improved visibility. Designed to snap off in the case of hard impact to protect the rider’s neck.

Breakaway camera mount

Never miss a moment. A camera mount is included and integrated in the helmet design. No need for velcro straps. Designed to snap off in the case of impact to reduce rotational impact.. The helmet shell is designed to prevent the mount or accessory from intruding into the helmet in the event of an impact.

Magnetic buckle

The magnetic buckle connects quickly and is easy to use with full finger gloves.

DualCore

Two different density EPS layers form one helmet. The soft low-density layer sits close to the head, protecting you against rotational impact. The hard high-density layer sits further away from the brain ready to absorb direct impact.

Eyewear friendly

Secure eyewear mounting integrated into the helmet shell.

Tailored fit

Advanced TurnSys technology provides a perfect fit on the fly with a simple turn of the dial. The magnetic buckle is easily managed with one hand and gloves on, ensuring your helmet is ready to roll whenever you are.

Goggle grip

The no-slip design on the rear of the helmet prevents the goggle strap from moving out of position.

Integrated rotational impact protection

KinetiCore Controlled Crumple Zones absorb the force of both direct and rotational impacts in the event of a crash to re-direct energy away from your head, protecting you when you need it most.

Integrated RECCO Technology

The integrated RECCO reflector and detector makes you searchable to rescuers. No power or activation necessary.

LED light compatible

Increase visibility by attaching the Universal Lazer LED at the back of the helmet, so you’re seen no matter what the daylight or weather conditions are.

Strap divider

Innovative divider allows horizontal and vertical adjustment for a more precise fit. Divider keeps straps positioned for stable comfort in all conditions.

Winter kit compatible

For those brisk winter rides, add the soft fleece Winter Kit for a cold weather conversion that keeps you powering through all year round (Kit not included with helmet).

Media Reviews

It ticks all the boxes with features like an adjustable breakaway visor, a removable camera/light mount, eyewear docking, and a mostly crowd-pleasing fit. I think Lazer almost hit a home run with this one.

The new Impala represents the pointy end of that development work, with new safety technologies and industrial design to improve on their current offerings.

The added features like DualCore, the RECCO reflector, [...] go a long way toward justifying the price increase. Riders who want a high-feature, all-around trail helmet with a strong focus on safety will find it a worthwhile upgrade.
