Lazer buckles

"Broke a buckle on my Lazer helmet thought I was going to have to toss it in the trash. I have a few of these nothing wrong with them never crashed. Anyway the buckle system went on fine and now I have one of my favorites back. Thanks"

Availability of buckle parts

"It is frustrating to have a very nice Lazer helmet only to have the buckle break pretty quickly and then having to wait for months upon months for Lazer to ever have any in stock. Not much point in buying the helmet if you can't wear it because the buckle breaks for no reason and you can't get replacement parts."

buckles are not the same as thin strap on my older Lazer helmet.

"The male end didn’t work with my existing buckle."

Buckle Woes

"The buckle, like the original, is super hard to disconnect. I think that's why eventually it breaks and won't stay connected anymore. It was also very hard to install."

helmet buckle

"my cheesy laser helmet buckle broke. I went on the Lazer site, and they had one in stalk I got it in a few days, and i got recentered with the universe. Thanks"

Q&A

Hello. I have been wearing a Z1Mips helmet for years. Recently one of the outside prongs on the male part of the buckle broke. I ordered a new helmet that was received Monday, no problem. I just learned that you offer replacement buckles for $5. I would like to do that so that I would have a backup. My question is: how is it possible to remove the buckle parts (specifically the three pronged part) from a closed loop strap? Thank you.
On my helmet the three prong male buckle is on a strap with a folded end making it too big to go through the buckle. I unstitched the folded part of the strap to take off the old buckle and put on the new one. You do face a risk of the buckle coming off unless you fold it and stitch it back up, but hasn't been a problem for me.
