That drive continues with the new Impala KinetiCore, the first helmet to feature DualCore, the next evolution of Lazer's KinetiCore design.

DualCore uses two layers of EPS foam, each with a different density, to help manage different types of impact forces.

A firmer, higher-density outer layer sits beneath the helmet's polycarbonate shell and is designed to help manage direct impact forces. Beneath that, a softer inner layer, separated by a lightweight polycarbonate structure, is designed to help manage rotational forces that can occur during angled impacts.

Inside the helmet, Lazer's KinetiCore crumple zones are integrated directly into the EPS construction.

These engineered structures are designed to deform during certain impacts, helping manage energy before it is transferred to the rider's head.

Because KinetiCore is built into the helmet rather than added as a separate liner, the Impala maintains a clean, low-profile shape while integrating Lazer's impact protection technology directly into the helmet construction.

Smarter Protection by Design

The Impala KinetiCore introduces several rider-focused features beyond its DualCore protection system.

A new breakaway accessory mount replaces traditional hook-and-loop straps with a clean, integrated bracket designed to securely hold a compatible camera or light. The mount is designed to release under certain impact conditions rather than remain rigidly attached to the helmet.

Extended coverage around the sides and rear of the helmet provides additional coverage for trail riding, while the adjustable breakaway visor offers three positions to suit different riding conditions.

Every Impala KinetiCore also includes a RECCO® reflector. The passive reflector requires no battery or activation and can be detected by compatible RECCO search-and-rescue equipment.

Comfort That Keeps You Riding

A helmet needs to be comfortable enough to wear ride after ride, so the Impala KinetiCore includes several features designed with long days on the trail in mind.

The magnetic buckle is quick and intuitive to use, even while wearing gloves, and connects to lightweight straps made with recycled materials.

A grippy texture at the rear of the helmet helps keep goggle straps in place, while Lazer's Advanced TurnSys fit system allows riders to fine-tune the fit.

The fit system features a wider forehead band and larger rear basket designed to help keep the helmet comfortably and securely positioned during rough trail riding.

When temperatures rise, 22 strategically positioned vents help promote airflow through the helmet.

Available in three sizes and a variety of modern colors, the Impala KinetiCore gives riders options for dialing in both fit and style.
