The UNIVERSAL RECHARGEABLE LED TAILLIGHT is highly appreciated for its bright and effective light, though some users have noted issues with the connection between the light and the helmet.

"Great safety feature"
"Been using this light for about 3 years. It works well with a few interesting features. However, I ended with charging problems and on a closer look found that it was caused by a broken inside the magnetic connector. Contacted Lazer customer service who graciously agreed to mail a replacement cable (proprietary connector, no other way to get one), so kudos to them. To prevent this from happening, don't let the strong magnet snap onto the charging port. I think this is what weakens the pin over time and gets it to get loose and break. That's all, long story for such a small device. . . :-)"
"Just purchased my Lazer Helmet (fourth in 10+ years) and notice the tail light on your website. Great idea! Snaps right into the back of my helmet and adds additional visibility which give me greater safety; particularly on solo rides."
"I have a bad habit of forgetting to bring my tail light on bike rides. By leaving this one permanently attached to my helmet, I never have to worry about it—if I have my helmet, I have my light. Plus, the battery life is incredible, so I rarely have to plug it in. Highly recommend!"
"This is my second Lazer helmet. Replacing other one that have been using for few years. Like the fit and price."
"Love the light. The different modes are cool. Easy to mount"
"When new, this light is wonderful. However, my experience is that the black plastic piece that holds the light on the helmet breaks, and the light falls off while I’m riding. It should be made of metal."
"I want the light to be easy to turn on and off. I don't need to change its program very often, probably never. But this light requires a long press to turn on or off, and then a simple press to cycle through each of the different settings, which is the opposite of what I want. It's also annoying that it does not remember my setting, forcing me to do all of this clicking to get it set how I want every single time I use it. Also, the power cord has a proprietary connector. Why? Lazer could have saved money by using a standard part and then I wouldn't have to worry about losing it. In my opinion, the design of this light was very poorly considered, or possibly it just wasn't considered at all, at least not by anyone who's actually going to use it."
"The universal light is nice."
